Not Gaming Related But…
I got engaged! I’m super pumped to have this girl in my life and I just wanted to let everyone know.
Nothing is perfect, rarely anything is. 90% of the time when I post of a piece of my own nerdy art I hate it because something is off. And because it’s a minuscule thing that I might hate - Link’s nose looks weird, I can’t quite make a portal glow enough, Pac-Man doesn’t really say anything - it bothers me. For once something in my life wasn’t perfect and I didn’t hate it.
Nothing went according to plan, especially the final draft of my idea to ask her to marry me at midnight. I basically had decided to say screw those plans - plans in general - and instead I asked her on an epicly lit bridge at 3:00 AM with all of my band mates and in under five minutes. My final words before devoting my life to one woman was, “Stop the freaking van, we’re doing this crap!”
Random, spontaneous, exciting. Those are the words that describe our engagement and those are the words I want to describe our marriage and lives. All in all, I’m seriously pumped. I’m pumped for our life together. And I’m ready to attack it! Stop, World. We’re doing this crap!
I am so excited to have this man in my life forever! God has truly blessed me way beyond what I deserve.
Btw, if you ask me, Kody’s proposal was absolutely perfect. ;)

I love these kids! I was so stoked when they asked me to do their engagement pictures. The session was so much fun! But, I mean, how could anything involving the throwing of paint not be a blast?! Stoked for their wedding!
